Works in Progress - Collages

After a visit to the Toronto Cabbagetown Festival, I was intrigued by several collage artists and decided to try it for myself! I enjoyed the work so much that I have started a collection of scraps, magazines, music sheets, etc. Diving into the medium, I chose a birch wood pre-constructed 12” X 12” surface with a 1” depth:

I joined a collective of collage artists in Toronto (Toronto Collage Collective) and have a blast with them...I think joining art groups is the best way to develop your talent and take it to the next level. Besides, it's so much fun!!
